The Portland, Maine, garage portfolio consists of three properties located in the heart of the Old Port section of the city. The properties include, the Custom House, Temple Street and Casco Bay garages. In total, these garages account for an approximate 30% market share of all covered parking in the city. All three garages serve the monthly and transient parking needs of the community.
Custom House Garage has a total of 767 spaces on eight floors plus an additional 32,684 square feet of Class A office space on the first three levels. The office space is anchored by he digital gifting firm CashStar and the Cumberland County Registry of Deeds. The Custom House Garage was built in 1989.
In addition to being located in the Old Port, the Temple Street Garage is in the heart of the Financial District of Portland. This property has a total of 620 spaces on four floors plus an additional 22,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The retail space is anchored by the 11,800-square-foot Patriot Cinemas, the only movie theater in downtown Portland.
The Casco Bay Garage is located on Commercial Street directly on the waterfront. This garage contains 418 spaces on four floors and is adjacent to the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal. The garage serves many of the various Casco Bay Island residents who commute into the city.
